Jennifer Tilly is one of the most well known female poker players, but she is more well known for her career as a Hollywood Actress. Tilly was born as Jennifer E. Chan in Harbor City, California. Her father was a Chinese-American stockbroker and her mother an Irish-Canadian. Tilly is her mother’s maiden name, which Jennifer adopted when she pursued her career as an actress.

Tilly is most known for her appearance in Woody Allen’s Bullets Over Broadway, in which Tilly was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has also had roles as the wife of a murdered Italian Mafia son in Bella Mafia and as the lesbian lover to Gina Gershon in Bound. Tilly has also done a lot of voice-over work including roles such as the killer doll Tiffany in Child’s Play, and as the voice of the Griffin Family’s neighbor Bonnie in the hit TV show, Family Guy.

When she is not acting or doing voice-overs, Tilly is tearing it up at the poker tables. Tilly holds a coveted WSOP bracelet after winning the Ladies’ No Limit Texas Holdem event at the 2005 WSOP. She has also been on several of the popular poker TV shows including the World Poker Tour (where she won the ladies invitational in 2005), GSN’s Poker Royale and the Celebrity Poker Showdown. Tilly has stated during interviews that she is now more interested in pursuing poker than she desires to pursue her acting career.

Jennifer Tilly is currently dating poker professional Phil “The Unibomber” Laak and has even picked up the nickname “The Unibombshell” in the poker world. She was married to The Simpsons producer, Sam Simon, but divorced in 1991.

Don’t expect Tilly to go away anytime soon. She loves playing poker and happens to be really good at doing so.
